If you operate equipment in Mass that is capable of raising 10+ feet, lifting 500+ lbs., or holding over 1/4 yard of material Mass DPS requires you to be licensed. This 8 hour class prepares you for the MA Department of Public Safety 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, and/or 1C, 1D Hoisting Engineers License exams allowing workers to operate front end loaders, backhoes and excavators (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) and/or operate a hydraulic boom with no cable, industrial forklifts and all terrain lull type forklifts (1C, 1D).
We offer a full day combined 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D/1C, 1D Hoisting License preparation course (8 hours) or each course can be taken individually for a half day (4 hours).
Breakfast consisting of pastries and coffee, light lunch, and afternoon snacks will be provided for the full day combined courses. Breakfast consisting of pastries, coffee and water will be provided for the half day morning (1C, 1D) course. Afternoon snacks and refreshments will be provided for the half day afternoon (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) course.
Cost for full day $225 per participant, half day $125. Full day combined course will run 8 hours ending at 4:30 PM. Please inquire about our Veteran’s Military Discount.
